Kelly DuckettKelly was born in the maritime city of Southampton and spent most of her earlier years in and around this area. After graduating in Sociology and Industrial Relations at Southampton University she continued her education abroad in The Hague, Netherlands studying for a masters degree in European Law and Policy. On completion of her MA she worked in local government and was involved with housing issues, homelessness and providing general housing advice. After a number of years in the work place she decided to return to education and in July 2008 she graduated with an LLB Hons followed by successfully completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford. Kelly joined Stone Rowe Brewer in July 2008 and currently supports the litigation department. She has already completed a 15 month period in the Private Client department and a much shorter period in the Conveyancing Department. On completion of her training contract she hopes to qualify into Private Client work. Her partner is a serving officer in the Royal Navy so when he is not on deployment they spend quality time together including cycling and walking which she finds most enjoyable in The New Forest. Kelly will complete her training contract in July 2010. |
